See Spot Run 5K & Doggie Dash
See Spot Run is an annual 5K fundraising run/walk benefiting the Yakima Humane Society. This is a fun family event for people and pets of all ages. You'll have a great time and get that warm and furry feeling by running or walking to support homeless pets in our community. Your registration fee and all fundraising proceeds will help us meet our goal of $25,000 to support the great programs we have for community pets.
You and your family, with or without a four-legged companion, are invited to participate in this furry and fabulous event! This Fun Run & Doggie Dash is a wonderful outdoor activity promoting health and wellness in our community. And don't forget... the whole event benefits homeless pets in our community - what could be better than that?! Lace up those running shoes, grab a leash and join us at Sherman Park on April 23rd.
Participants are encouraged, but not required, to bring their well-behaved dog to run or walk the race. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations and must be leashed at all times. For the safety of other runners, please do not use flexi or retractable leashes. Aggressive and female dogs in heat are strictly prohibited. Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs - baggies will be provided.
This is a great opportunity to get outdoors with family and friends to enjoy a day in the park with community members who share your passion for animals in need. All proceeds from the event directly support the thousands of cats and dogs that the shelter receives every year. Run or Walk! The shelter pets will love you for it!
