Come help us celebrate, Santa Claus Trolley Weekend, by riding our Oporto, Portugal 1928 Trolley Car (#1976) round-trip excursion down the Special West Pine Street in Yakima, Washington this coming Saturday (December 11, 2021) and Sunday (December 12, 2021). First 50 children will receive a candy cane from Santa himself. Plus, a movie, decorations, and light seasonal refreshments will be inside Yakima Valley Trolleys (YVTs) Powerhouse Museum for everyone to get in the holiday spirit. Then step on board our trolley with all the other children and their guardians, the jolly old elf himself and Ms. Claus, and enjoy a 25-minute round-trip together - it will be a festive good time for all. Trolley Car #1976 first departure will be at 10am and then every half hour until 3pm each day starting from YVTs Powerhouse Museum at 418 South 3rd Avenue. Masks and social distancing are required both in YVTs Powerhouse Museum and on the Trolley Car #1976 - if not fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
