How can you expand, enhance, and build on your existing object/practice for a mere meaningful tool for you? This is both hands-on & idea based portable reality. Life, seasons, elements both internal and external - how can we record/track the important and mundane? The workshop is tailored to students’ interests, while building a variety of samples to develop new paths to explore. Joan CawleyCrane is an artist/educator, living in “The Heart of Washington” aka Ellensburg. She teaches art at CWU, is an arts advocate who draws and writes daily and is a book artist. She is a maker—from photos to fibers and more. Workshop is from 9am to 4pm in the Larson Gallery with a lunch break. Class size limited to 25. Materials list provided on registration.
