Name: Creating an Education System Where Everyone Belongs
Date: August 21, 2019
Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM PDT
Event Description:
How can we create an education system in Washington state where every student has equitable access to their learning and feels like they belong? What would an inclusive, supportive school look like, feel like, and sound like for our students? We need your ideas! Every voice matters. On August 21, share your thoughts and participate in a community conversation. Join parents, students, educators, policy experts, and local advocates. Together, we will imagine a better future for special education in Washington state. Special thanks to our co-hosts Yakima Children's Village. Limited childcare available must contact in advance. If you need interpretation services or other accommodations, please contact info@studentpotential.org by August 14th.
