State History invites individuals and\norganizations connected with Utah's tech industry tosubmit presentation\nproposals for the conference sessions to be held on September 26 at The\nLeonardo\, Utah's Science and Technology Museum. \nAs part of the conference\, State History will also be\nposting selected presentations online."The documenting\nand writing about Utah's technological advances has just begun." says\nBrad Westwood\, director of the Utah Division of State History. "Something quite unique is happening in Utah\nin regards to digital technologies. Utah is becoming a major player in the\ndigital economy. The story is not just a local story\; it's a national\, even a\nglobal story."Proposals can include papers\, podcasts\,\nvisuals\, panel discussions\, and other forms of presentations. Proposals should be submitted by April\n22\, 2014. Each proposal must include:A one-page (300-word limit) abstract detailing\nthe presentation or session and its significance Bio for each participant (100-word limit)Audio-visual requirementsYour permission\, if selected\, for media\ninterviews\, session audio/visual recordings\, and electronic sessions or\npodcasts during or in advance of the conference.
