Under strict rules\, limited resources and tight time limits\, teams of 25 students or more are challenged to raise funds\, design a team "brand\," hone teamwork skills\, and build and program a robot to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors. It's as close to "real world" engineering as a student can get. 53 teams from 11 states and Canada will compete for worldwide recognition and a chance at over $20+ Million in college scholarships. Qualification rounds are all day Friday\, 13 March 8:30 6:00 with matches every 10 -15 minutes. \n Most spectators will attend Saturday\, 14 March 8:30 4:30 and stay for the final awards ceremony at 4:45. \n Guests can visit the pit area\, talk to students about their robots and collect pins and trinkets from the teams. This competition is especially fun for kids (and those who are kids at heart).\n 2000+ students and 5000+ teachers\, mentors\, sponsors and fans are expected to participate.Click here for more information.
