POSITION: CEO/President
REPORTS TO: Chamber Board
Position Summary:
The CEO provides executive leadership to the Chamber in the fulfillment of its mission statement; implements thee approved strategic plan and develops strategies toward a successful and financially stable future. This position provides overall strategic directions, vision and management for the programs and personnel of the Yakima Chamber. The CEO demonstrates expertise in strategic planning, member sales and support, program management, economic development, public policy, nonprofit governance/operations, finance/accounting, public speak and fundraising. The role has full responsibility for profit/loss, fiscal stability, and legal compliance. This is a dynamic leader with the ability to manage current programs, while developing new initiatives that are value added for existing and potential members. The CEO/President serves as the visible leader of the Chamber, as a communicator, facilitator, and interactive community planner.

Assures proper administration of the Chamber financial activities; maintains appropriate data, records a financial controls; communicates an coordinates, as appropriate with the Board regarding financial matters.
