Explore the diverse and unique shrub steppe wildflowers at the Wild Horse Wind Facility. Enjoy guided wildflower walks, presentations, displays, and wind turbine tours. RSVP Required: wildhorse@pse.com Session 1 10:00am Wind Turbine Tour 11:00am Wildflower Orientation Presentation 11:30am Wildflower and Wind Power Walk Session 2 2:00pm Wind Turbine Tour 3:00pm Wildflower Orientation 3:30pm Wildflower and Wind Power Walk Please bring snacks, water, sturdy hiking boots/shoes, sunscreen, a camera, and hiking poles (optional). The hike is cross country over uneven ground, and will be accessed via a gravel road. *The event on May 12th will feature Mother's Day Treats at 1:30-3:00pm. Wildflower walks will also be offered mid-week, by appointment, April through May.
