Alegria & Company, as it is known today, was established in 1947 by James B. Shrader (1919-1990). The Firm has undergone many changes since then, from the days of manual accounting with pencil and paper to an era of the internet and highly sophisticated software. What has not changed is our belief in building trusting relationships with our clients. We view every client relationship as a partnership and truly believe that our success is a result of their success. Altogether, we are more than thirty professionals and staff committed to providing accounting, auditing, tax, estate and business planning services of the highest quality in a prompt and professional manner. The Firm maintains membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
