Yakima Valley Trolleys Dinner and Live Auction Gala Fundraiser

The Yakima Valley Trolleys Association is hosting a Dinner and Live Auction gala at the Yakima Valley Museum on Tieton Dr.  This fundraiser is to help maintain the Yakima Valley Trolleys mission to preserve, restore, maintain and operate the former Yakima Valley Transportation Company railroad line in such fashion as to present a historically accurate representation of the day-today operations of the Yakima Valley Transportation Company.  We have many operational issues we are trying to rectify, including re-stringing the overhead wire to Selah which was stolen years back.  We also are looking to increase the safety of our facilities and trolleys to insure safe travel while preserving this last historic interurban electric railway in the US for our visitors.  Our ridership is up and we also need more volunteers to help operate the trolleys during the summer and holiday events.  Have you ever wanted to operate a train or as we say 'motor a trolley'?
