Join us for an important Lunch & Learn session featuring Yakima City Manager Vicki Baker, as she addresses the City’s projected $9 million budget shortfall and what it could mean for core services like police, fire, parks, and streets.
Earlier this spring, the City conducted a community-wide survey to gather feedback on budget priorities, service reductions, and potential tax increases. Baker will share insights from the survey, discuss the challenges ahead, and outline the City’s next steps.
She’ll also touch on plans for economic development and open the floor for a town hall–style Q&A, especially geared toward local business owners to share input, ask questions, and discuss concerns.
